Di and Cam

Well, I guess I don't need to mention that it's been a wee while since we last updated the blog?!

The excuse this time... We've found and moved into a new home! We moved in last Saturday and have now had a week sleeping in our very own room in our very own bed. This might not sound like a something to be excited about but we recently counted the number of sleeps we had on the air bed and it was nearly 50. A big thanks to Cheyne, Denise and Mike for putting up with us in their lounge room for so long. Though they can’t have minded that much as they are now our new flat mates, or sharers as they call it over here.

But, it has definitely been worth the wait as our new home has a good size garden (for the compulsory summer BBQs), a spare room (for anyone who is planning to be over our way) and it is in a good location with the train station only 12minutes walk (our street is also on a main bus route, handy for getting to the station on rainy mornings).

We have also been busy booking some of our trips for this year, with Amsterdam, Paris, Valencia, Nice, Marseille & Italy on the cards and hopefully a few long weekends spent exploring around the UK aswell. I'm still amazed by the cost of travelling here - often the price of a plane ticket is less than the taxes - incredible!

Also since our last blog I have started at my job with Vertu. This has been going really well. I am presently working on an existing product ironing out some production problems. I am visiting a supplier in Germany next week, which should be interesting

Di is still enjoying her job. She has initiated work drinks on Fridays for her team in good old ADHB fashion.
